Current Profiler - Immediate information about currents

The Aquadopp Profiler is a sensor that measures the current speed and direction in multiple levels of the water column. This gives the user immediate information about the currents not only at the surface, but also deeper down. This information may be vital in understanding where the optimal feeding position will be in the cages, which forces that are acting on the cages, how to maneuver boats close to the cages, and how lice treatment skirts will behave.

The Aquadopp Profiler can be mounted on a buoy at a certain distance from the cages. In this case it will provide information about the general current conditions at the location. Alternatively, it can be mounted closer to the cages, to provide more local information.

One huge advantage about the Aquadopp Profiler is that it is virtually maintenance free. It only needs to be cleaned at regular intervals, but calibration is never needed, as it does not drift over time. It is also very robust mechanically, with no moving parts. Hence, current measurements with the Nortek Aquadopp Profiler are always correct.

temperature-sensor-css-feed-systemContinuous oxygen readings from the cages or tanks are transmitted through the Akvasmart wireless sensor network (CAP) or Iridium Satellite Network for easy Access worldwide (AOS).
aosAOS (Autonomous Online System ) gives easy access to sensor data. Wherever your fish farm is located, you can easily check reference data for oxygen, temperature, salinity and sea currents.
environmental-accessThe Akvasmart Environmental Access Point (EAP) is a robust and reliable connenction alternative, hardwired or wireless.
oxygen-temperature-current-sensorUsing the Current Sensor in combination with Oxygen and Temperature Sensor gives a good picture of the fish’ environment.
akva-control-feed-systemThe AKVAconnect feed system software logs the current data for later analysis.
