AquaNext brings the aquaculture industry together at Forum Expo in Stavanger. Under this year’s theme, “Growth – together!”, the event focuses on collaboration around fish welfare, technology and future growth. Our Digital area will feature AKVA submerged, developed to support modern aquaculture operations. You can also try our new interactive feeding game and experience how feeding becomes harder to manage with every additional pen—then discover how AKVA’s digital tools can help make the task easier.

The main conference will take place in the AKVA group Arena, a conference hall with capacity for 400 participants, integrated into the exhibition area.

09:15–10:00: Blue talk: Norwegian Aquaculture Towards 2040 - Where Are We Headed?

Knut Nesse, CEO of AKVA group, joins a panel discussion on growth opportunities, competitiveness and the future of Norwegian aquaculture.

12:30–16:00: Land-based aquaculture - what have we learned and where do we go from here?

Siri Tømmerås, Commercial Director at AKVA group, will moderate the seminar and has also helped develop the programme. Aquaculture companies, suppliers and experts will share practical insights into post-smolt strategies, biology and technology, production optimisation and profitability.

Wednesday, 23 September

09:00–10:00: Lowest cost - or strategic partnership?

Arnstein Hosaas, Chief Innovation Officer at AKVA group, joins a panel discussion on how long-term collaboration between customers and suppliers can support technology development.

10:30–11:30: Protection Systems for Aquaculture

AKVA group will participate alongside aquaculture companies and other technology suppliers in a discussion about different approaches to reducing fish exposure to sea lice.
