Wireless transmission of video and sensor data. This wireless sensor network is an important, integrated part of the feed system. The CAP (Pen Access Point) has two-way data communication with the feed system and is an active part of AKVA connect.

The new Digital CAP features more powerful transmitters, external channel selection, 360-degree adjustable surface camera and directional antennas. The CAP also allows for connection of temperature-, oxygen- and current sensors. Video and sensor data are transmitted wirelessly from each pen to the base.

Connection point and infrastructure for cameras and sensors.

The connection point is compatible with all our underwater cameras and three environmental sensors. The wireless sensor network is a useful and safe hub for all contact between the pens and the control room. The powerful pan/tilt/zoom camera on the top of the unit can be controlled and moved into correct position from the control room on the feed barge. You can easily zoom in on the area you want, such as feed spread, net connections, a wellboat or the pen mooring.

The CAP, which is suitable for both steel and plastic pens, is mounted directly onto the handrail.
