What is your background?
I hold a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a bachelor’s in sociology from NTNU. My background combines content production, communication strategy, and hands-on creative work.
Before joining AKVA group in 2022, I worked in both agencies and on the client side—ranging from editorial work and advertising to web development, SEO, photography, and project management. I’ve written for newspapers and magazines, created press articles, run social media accounts, built websites, and managed everything from concept to campaign. Having stood on both sides of the table gives me a solid understanding of what builds strong brands—and strong stories.
What motivates you in your role at AKVA group?
I enjoy turning complex content into clear, engaging communication. In AKVA group, I get to work across the entire company—from engineers and product specialists to sales and service. That variety keeps things fresh.
It’s also motivating to be part of a company that genuinely pushes for innovation in aquaculture. It gives meaning to the stories I tell. Whether I’m writing a product article, preparing a press release, planning a campaign, or organizing a photo shoot, I know the content contributes to something bigger.
What does a typical workday look like for you?
There’s no such thing as a “typical” day—which is exactly how I like it. One day I might be writing internal news or a press article, the next I’m editing photos, planning a webinar, or building a new campaign page.
I work closely with colleagues across departments and locations to develop content, shape stories for external channels, and translate technical material into something more accessible and engaging.
Why did you choose AKVA group as your employer?
I was drawn to the combination of meaningful work, forward-leaning technology, and the opportunity to work with communication in an international company. It’s rare to find a place where you can be creative and strategic—while also working hands-on with real content that matters.
For me, it was also about joining a larger team, close to where I live. After years of wearing many hats in smaller companies, I was ready to contribute in a more focused and impactful way—and AKVA group gave me that opportunity.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
Hopefully, still working with smart, creative people, telling strong stories that move our brand and our business forward. I’d like to deepen my work with strategic content and brand development, and possibly contribute even more on the global side.
As long as I get to combine creativity with clarity, and help connect people with the value of what we do—I’ll be right where I want to be.
