What is your background?
I started my career in the Armed Forces, where I served for four years as a platoon commander and troop leader. After my military service, I pursued a degree in economics and administration, and went on to spend eight years working with procurement and supply chain management in the oil service industry.
For the past five years, I’ve been part of AKVA group, holding various roles related to supply chain. I was also involved in the implementation of our new ERP system. Today, I serve as Procurement Manager for Sea Based Nordic, where I’m responsible for purchasing, logistics, and order handling.
What motivates you in your role at AKVA group?
What motivates me in my role as Procurement Manager is the opportunity to contribute to an innovative company that’s pushing the aquaculture industry forward. I enjoy the combination of strategic and operational responsibilities, and the chance to drive efficiency across departments.
It’s both exciting and rewarding to be part of a company that is constantly evolving.
What does a typical workday look like for you?
No two days are the same. A typical day at AKVA group involves fast-paced decision-making, prioritization, planning, and hands-on operational work. At the same time, I dedicate part of my time to strategic planning and process improvement.
The workday is dynamic and driven by cross-departmental collaboration, which is essential to achieving our goals.
