What is your background?
I am a Social and Organizational Psychologist with a specialization in organizational architecture and design, development and training, inclusion, gender equity, work environment, and other areas related to people and culture. I’m passionate about the potential and growth in every professional, and the opportunities we can create as a company to help people bring out the best in themselves.
My previous experience was mainly in organizational development and recruitment. I’ve worked across various industries such as retail, construction, professional services, and technical consulting—always with a strong focus on organizational design and direct support to senior management in shaping and leading the organizations they envisioned. My professional training has allowed me to contribute to understanding the human factor within companies, helping to project results and predict behaviors.

My role as Director of HR SBI involves working across multiple countries—Chile, Canada, Turkey, Spain, Greece, and Australasia—each with its own culture, language, and business dynamics. This diversity presents many challenges but also keeps me energized.
I’m motivated by the opportunity to support operational teams and management in building the best possible teams for the challenges of tomorrow. Our pioneering mindset is one of the things I value most—we constantly push boundaries, explore new ideas, and break away from traditional ways of working.
As we often say in the Chile office: “There is no such thing as a lazy day.” That energy and flexibility are central to what we do, and being part of that dynamic environment is a continuous source of motivation for me.
What does a typical workday look like for you?
My days are filled with variety. I collaborate with different regions and time zones, coordinate new projects, and respond to changing priorities. A typical workday involves a mix of strategic decision-making, operational support, and talent development.
Whether it’s helping managers make hiring decisions, advising on organizational changes, or supporting inclusion efforts, my role is to ensure that we have the right people in the right positions—with the tools and support they need to thrive. The dynamic nature of our business means I’m always learning and adapting alongside our teams.
Why did you choose AKVA group as your employer?
AKVA group has been the most important step in my professional career. It’s not only a place of constant learning and challenge, but also a place where I’ve built meaningful relationships and found a sense of belonging.
What makes AKVA group stand out is its pioneering spirit. We don’t just follow routines—we innovate, challenge norms, and support one another in becoming better every day. I’ve made mistakes and learned from them, and that’s encouraged here. The trust and shared values within the company motivate me to keep growing and contributing.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
I don’t focus too much on the future. As long as I have the trust of my colleagues and remain aligned with the company’s values—values I truly believe in—I’ll stay motivated and committed to learning.
With this foundation, I know that no matter what the next five years bring, AKVA group will continue to be a place where I can grow, support others, and contribute meaningfully.
