The fish tanks, which have been produced by AKVA group Land Based through more than 30 years, have a smooth, hydrophobic surface. This key feature makes it easy to create a clean and healthy environment for the fish. The use of HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) inner liner also facilitates tight and efficient connections with e.g. pipe systems and mort collection systems.

Small tanks are made of 10mm thick HDPE plates. Larger tanks are reinforced with galvanized and corrugated steel plates and lined with 4mm thick HDPE plates.

OUTLET UNITS

Our flexible outlet units and mort collection systems are easily adapted to your needs. Side outlet units with a flexible center pipe that enables centered suction are particularly popular. This is a system that is easily adjusted to different species and fish sizes; a perfect solution for everyone who is aiming to make the most of the facility through a production cycle.

INLET

The inlet arrangments enable a good self-cleaning of the tank, ensuring a clean environment for the fish. We deliver nozzles of different dimensions and sizes, with fully adjustable nozzle-opening and the opportunity to blend single nozzles. The pipes have been designed to provide a smooth, centered water stream with positive effects on oxygen and tank hydraulics.

TANK LINER

All Plastsveis tans are equipped with an inner liner of hard Polyethylen, a strong water-repellent material that contributes to maintaining clean tanks. The smooth liner also prevents the fish from becoming injured when it comes in contact with the tank wall.
