A fixed bed biofilter turns metabolic waste into harmless nitrate and works also as a microparticle filter holding back particles <40-60 micron. Main pumps

Water is pumped only one time as clean water leaves the treatment system. The recycling rate of the total system volume is 1-2 times per hour.

Ozone chamber

Ozone cleans the water by oxidation and enhances flocculation of microparticles. The microorganisms are neutralized and off-flavour levels are controlled.
