Kristian Botnen, COO Sea Based Nordic, has decided to resign from his position at AKVA group. From 1 October, he will be succeeded by Erlend Gundersen Røed as COO of Sea Based Nordic, who will also join the company’s management team. Arnstein Hosaas will be promoted to Chief Innovation Officer (CIO) Sea Based and also become part of the AKVA group’s management team.

Røed holds a master’s degree in business and finance, and has more than ten years of experience in the industrial sector. Over the past decade, he has held management positions as project and integration manager, general manager of a production facility, and director of business intelligence. He joined AKVA group in the summer of 2024.
Hosaas holds a master’s degree in marine engineering from NTNU and in hydrodynamics from the University of São Paulo in Brazil. He has 14 years of experience in the oil industry in various technical, operational, and engineering roles, both nationally and internationally. He is currently Innovation Director at AKVA group.
