Due to Covid-19 and restrictions, many fish farmers could not travel to the Aqua Nor exhibition in Trondheim in August. With AKVA group's roadshow, they still get the opportunity to get updated on the latest fish farming technology for sustainable aquaculture - in their own neighborhood.

These days, the AKVA Mobile exhibition continues to roll along the Norwegian coast, packed with new digital technology on the screens and loaded with exciting product news in pens, nets and mooring technology.

“It is a great pleasure to be able to meet customers face to face again,” says Tore Obrestad, primus motor for AKVA Mobile and Business Development Manager in AKVA group.

AKVA Mobile is packed with information on hardware, service and digital solutions. A common thread is sustainability combined with cost-effective solutions. AKVA Mobile also includes a control room where you can get a guided tour and be updated on the most important news.

First weeks: Over 1000 km and 9 visits

AKVA group roadshow started September 15 at Sandstad, Hitra, and has rolled over 1000 km and visited 9 locations the first weeks. In November it adds up to a total of 22 locations and almost 2000 km before the winter storage at AKVA group Klepp.

In 2022 the roadshow will continue from Trondheim and along the coast to Northern Norway.

“Digital tools are definitely the future in many ways,” adds Roar Ognedal, Regional Sales Manager Southern Norway and Nordic countries. “But to create a good atmosphere in a face-to-face meeting with the fish farmers and close cooperation internally between employees - is not possible to achieve on digital surfaces,” he says.
