4 December, two top-notch feed barges reached Philosofish, marking a big step in the partnership between AKVA group and the major Greek farming company.
Philosofish's choice to get these feed barges from AKVA group shows their strong dedication to the special needs of Mediterranean fish farming. These barges, made through teamwork between AKVA group and Philosofish, are custom-made to boost farming practices in the area.
“I'm excited about the collaboration, highlighting Philosofish's significant investments amid the ever-evolving landscape of Mediterranean aquaculture," says Bruno Polichetti, the Managing Director of AKVA group in Greece.
These new feed barges come with hybrid battery packs. This innovation is eco-friendly, cost-effective, and keeps things super quiet. It's a first for AKVA group in Greece and sets a new standard.
The feed barges will be strategically stationed. One will find its mooring at the Chiliomili location in Aghios Serafim, while the other will be stationed at the Kofinas location, situated southwest of Evia Island.
