Polarcirkel 1050
A unique boat concept with double buoyancy pontoons
The legendary Polarcirkel™ 1050 is AKVA group's flagship. The model is built on a concept with double floating pontoons made of 500 mm PE pipes. The hull is nearly identical to our other boats, featuring a 21-degree V-bottom, but has been equipped with three pressure-tested chambers. The boat also has improved buoyancy compared to its predecessor.
The 1050 model can be equipped with an inboard engine with stern drive, an inboard engine with water jet, or standard outboard engines. The boat is most often installed with twin engines.
The most common motorization is twin Volvo Penta D4 320 with DPI drives. With this setup, the boat achieves a top speed between 40 and 45 knots. There are windshield wipers on all front windows. The interior solution in the cabin can, of course, be customized according to needs.
Polarcirkel 1050 is offered with various engine alternatives. Here is a version with two inboard motors and drive.
On request, this model can be delivered in two different versions, CE-class A and CE-class B.
The boat is equipped with a large cabin-type walk-around. Inside the cabin, there are four padded seats and a large bench seating three persons.
A Dacon resque net can be integrated in the pontoon. A useful and handy tool in case an accident should occur.
A compact optional life raft can also be offered to ensure your safety.
Previously, the 1050 was delivered with an escape route in the bulb of the wheelhouse, but this has now been replaced with Safe-T Punch on two of the side windows, significantly improving storage space. Both the pilot and co-pilot have windows that can be opened.
Polarcirkel™ also produces the 1050 according to customer desires and specifications as needed.
It's all in the details
The new 1050-series has well arranged dashboard. All antennas, radars o.e. are mounted on the roof and are easy available with an aft ladder. Exterior steering position can also be installed.
