When nature rebels, you need equipment you can trust. Polarcirkel 500RS pen is engineered not only to withstand severe weather conditions, but also to provide the farmer with the most practical and safe tool possible.

The pen has a highly robust and stable construction: where extreme forces from the moorings are absorbed in strong-point bulkhead collars that are integrated in the outer floating pipes (permitted forces in the bridle over 50 tonnes in the accident state).

Its superior structural strength has made AKVA Polarcirkel a preferred choice for fish farmers all over the world. Extensive use of HDPE in our brackets eliminates corrosion, minimizes expensive and difficult maintenance and substantially increases pen lifespan.

• Made from non-corrosive high-quality Polyethylene (HDPE100)
• The outer floating pipe has strong mirror-welded mooring collars with sectioned waterproof chambers (the inner floating pipe is also sectioned in waterproof chambers)
• The pen is styrofoam-free, something that eliminates the risk of pollution, which gives a smaller environmental footprint, at the same time as requirements for residual buoyancy in accordance with NS9415 are met
• Our new solution with chamber division (without Styrofoam) eliminates the danger that the pen sinks
